Speaking from personal experience, it is very much possible to eat too much hummus and tire of it–even if that hummus is one of Sabra’s incredible hummus flavors. Thankfully, the well-known brand has released new veggie dips in roasted sweet potato and roasted zucchini flavors, so you can press pause on the hummus for a bit.
Instagrammer Dad Bod Snacks spotted the new veggie dips, saying that they’re the real deal. The roasted sweet potato features caramelized onion and maple and the roasted zucchini includes spinach, artichoke, and garlic. As far as texture goes, the dip is “mainly [composed] of veggies and spices, pulverized to a paste like hummus,” according to the account. Presumably, the dips are being sold at stores where you normally get your Sabra hummus fix. They’re not on Sabra’s website yet, so they must be here for a limited time. Stay vigilant at your local supermarket!
In the caption of the post, @DadBodSnacks noted that this isn’t the first time Sabra has tried to release veggie dips and have them stick: “Before it was a roasted garlic flavor, an onion dip, and a cucumber dill (tzatziki),” he wrote. “There were also Veggie Fusions when they tried to add extra veggies to guac.”
He argues the previous dips were not true veggie dips. Hopefully, these new veggie dip releases live up to their name. They seem like the perfect go-to snack or food to put out at a party. (…You know. When we can have those again.)
