Television star Kelly Osbourne credits a vegan diet for her recent weight loss! Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter shared on Instagram that she has lost 85 pounds since she saw a friend’s mother and gave credit to her vegan diet for the transformation.

Osbourne commented on the post when the friend’s mother commented, “@themamamai that’s right mamma Mai I lost 85lbs since I last saw you. Can you believe it? Kaakakaka.” Osbourne began her vegan diet in 2012 and has spoken out about it being a lifestyle. She told HuffPost, “Once I learned how to work out right and eat right, it’s one of those things that you just have to commit to a life change rather than being on a diet.”

Speaking out previously about her vegan diet, she shared, ” I really miss eating cheese so today I tried ‘vegan shell pasta and creamy sauce’ aka Mac & cheese… you can not tell the difference.”

Osbourne also shared that she has “fun” with food now and no longer finds her vegan diet “boring.” She shared on Instagram, ” I used to think being a vegan was boring. Now I have more fun with food now than I ever have before.”

Osbourne joins celebrities including Simon Cowell in her embrace of the vegan diet.
